Gate of pain is killing me >.<
Does anyone know if gate of pain can be done with heros and henchyss, ive been stuck on it for about a month now! Im always stuck with crappy pugs. Someone please tell me if there are any hero builds that shine in this mish or anything about tips on this mission.
Thanks

I did this as a damage ranger with Norgu as full interrupt, Koss as damage, and Dunkoro as half prot half healing
henchies were Menlo, Devona, Odurra and Sologan I believe.
I was planning on having to do major interrupting on the darn spiders. With careful pulling and watching patrols, and also flagging henchies around when the meteor storms start, you should be able to do it.

I used
Magrid R/Me : Broad Head Arrow + Epidemic - She'll hit them first and if lucky Epidemic will spread.
Morgahn P/W: Stunning Strike - "For Great Justice!" - for quick adrenaline.
Dunkoro Mo/Me : Light of Deliverance and Power Spike. LoD helps with the env. debuff
I flagged them all in different spots and assigned one dryder to each of them but i kept rest of the team with me. Focused fire from Dunkoro to Magrid in that order, the Emissary was running around but it's not a threat. For pulling i used my own aggro bubble and lured them out.
Pulling the one from the castle can be tricky, my first try pulled the whole gang (including the torments) - no idea why.
edit: eh! typo downed.

I've H&H'd this with 4 chars - W, R, SS nec and rit.
I just used my standard group - Koss, Sousuke, Olias, Mhenlo, Kihm, Odurra and Herta (except on my W, replaced Koss with Jin or Margrid).
I might have put Winter on Jin/Margrid (it's been a while so I don't really remember) but as that's a Proph skill, you might not have that option.
The flame dryders are pretty nasty, no doubt about it. Careful pulling should help there.
One thing that has worked for me (not just here but in many situations) is to flag the whole group, then flag Koss some little ways ahead (within healing range!) where he can take the brunt of the agro.

I've H/H'd this 3 times, as well: Burning Arrow Ranger, Paragon, and Necro. I solo'ed the terrorwebs on my Ranger just for fun: Just launched a poisoned burning arrow at longbow range and sprinted off to watch it suffer. My Paragon has the easiest time in this mission by far; with "There's Nothing to Fear!", "They're on Fire!", and "Save Yourselves!", it's a complete joke.
My advice would be to bring a Broadhead Arrow Ranger with interrupts; that seems to help alot here.

I hero/ henched it- but unfortunately I've been sitting on Gates of Madness for like a month now and cannot remember who I brought with me on that mission.
Good luck to you!
